(Seriously. Send her an email. You know she loves to brag about you!) Sara Hammelef (BME, '20) is pursuing graduate study at Florida State University where she is a student of Dr. Eric Ohlssohn.
Nicholas Osborn (BM- Composition, '18) graduate study in composition at Bowling Green State University. Kerigan Williams ('18, Music Minor) is pursuing graduate study in creative writing at Ball State University. Hannah Wetherholt (BM-Performance, '17) graduated with a Master of Music degree (2019) from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where she was a student of Dr. Mark Ostoich. Hannah is currently Assistant Manager of Orchestral Personnel for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Kelsey Mankel ('16, Triple major in Music Performance, Neuroscience, and Psychology) is pursuing a PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Hearing Sciences concentration at the University of Memphis. Emily June Chesnic (BM-Performance, '14) graduated Spring 2016 with a Master of Music degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder where she was a student of Peter Cooper. Emily is currently Senior Development Assistant for the University of Colorado College of Music Advancement Team, supporting the College of Music and Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Aaron Wilbert (BME, '14) has completed his DMA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where he was a student of John Dee. Aaron is currently Instructor of Oboe at Bradley University. He has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra, Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra, Danville Symphony Orchestra, and Sinfonia da Camera. Aaron was also an Associate Member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for their 2018-2019 season. Kristin Gustafson (BME, '13) is teaching middle school choir for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System in Clarksville, Tennessee. Kelsey Chinn (BME, '13) became the band director at Van Hoosen Middle School (Rochester, MI) in the Fall of 2015. She previously taught middle school band and general music at Manatee Academy in Port St. Lucia, Florida where she was named an Emerging Leader of the Florida Music Educator's Association (FMEA). Jon Doggett (BME, ’12) went on to graduate from the Band Instrument Repair Program at Minnesota State College- South East Technical. Kristina Ruis (BM-Performance & BME, '11) graduated May 2014 with her Master of Music degree from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she studied with Linda Strommen. She was awarded the Performer's Certificate, one of the highest honors given by the Jacobs School of Music. Kelly Hay-Rosselit (M. Mus. ’10) is the band director at Berrien Springs Middle and High School (Berrien Springs, MI). This follows a successful four-year appointment as Assistant Band Director at Park View Intermediate in Pasadena, TX. |
